Does anybody out there know of any aftermarket interfaces/addons (i.e. Dice Silverline) that support Bluetooth audio via A2DP AND would allow me to control tracks/volume via the steering wheel and stereo controls using AVRCP? Basically I'm looking to be able to play music via my iPhone without having to plug it in somewhere. I'm not as worried about talking, just playing music and being able to control it through the built-in radio. An aftermarket stereo is not an option. Thanks for any insights!
I'd like to know too. My Satechi BT device works great when connected to the Aux port, but it doesn't have any steering wheel control.
I have the Dice Silverline in my car now. I just ordered one of these: A2DP Bluetooth Audio Adapter for iPod Dock Speaker WHT | eBay I'll be attempting to pair it with my Android Phone and I'll report back on my findings.
Just an update. It doesn't work. The Dice interface thinks that the "iPod" is "DISCONNECTED" and never unmutes the interface to allow the sound to come through.
Just over a year later... I just purchased a USASpec BT35-TOY and installed it, works great! DICE MediaBridge also supports this... but is $100 more expensive.
