My current stereo has Bluetooth support for basic calling functions, but I really miss having full Bluetooth audio as well - the AUX jack sounds terrible in my Prius. I'm reading up, and this "BT35-TOY" seems to be the least painless way to add audio-over-Bluetooth, short of adding a whole new stereo (which seems like overkill). USA SPEC: BT35-TOY Anyone here install one of these things? Any feedback?
The audio quality is not much better than AUX. And the volume level from FM to AUX when a call comes in is huge. It does allow for steering wheel button functionality. IMHO not worth it. If I was going to do it over I would install a new stereo.
I installed this in my 05 Prius, I like the fact that I can stream Pandora with a very clear sound. For the price I have no problem at all adjusting the volume when I listen to reg fm channels. iPhone ? 2
