Hi there, i am the owner of a Prius 2 2004 (european business edition model) with Navigation, Bluetooth etc. Since the 2004 model does not have the backingup camera i wanted to add one. After some reading etc. i noticed that i cannot just plug in a camera into the mfd because of the 'poor quality' version of the MFD. I am looking around for different (current) option to equipt my 04 with a backingup camera. The only thing i can find is a VERY expensive solution provided by NAVTOOL and a old 'supplier' CAN-view. The posts i read where from around 2010. What are the current options? I found something on ebay It is a composite signal input that converts it to RGB+Sync to connect it to the MFD screen. Can someone confirm that this box CAN indeed be used for the reverse camera. Are there ANY other off the shelf or (i prefer) DIY solutions. many thanks Iwan
