hi there, I was wondering, has anyone ever tried the usa-spec interface for the ipod? http://www.usaspec.com/ipod.html to me it looks exactly like the one that should be available in canada http://www.toyota.ca/NWS/francais/custom/c950022f.html so I would assume perfect integration/navigation/etc. regards, davide

It locks out the iPod. It's not very good, that product line's main advantage is that it's one of the last ones that work with alot of older (mid 90's) headunits, but cannot do text display.
