7 month old '07 with 7100 miles. All is perfect. I'm wondering what to expect from the display after the blinking pip. I've read here that there will be a beep as soon as the blinking starts. I've had it blink several times and don't remember a beep. Is there a warning light that comes on if you get down to the last few ounces of fuel?

You will get an add-fuel warning on the MFD, but there is no good reason to ever let the fuel get that low. Tom
My experience (in my '05) is that it will beep as soon as the light starts blinking. At the same time, a message comes up on the MFD that says something along the lines of "Add Fuel." I don't know about the '07, but in the '05 there is no intermediate step between the flashing pip and being stuck by the side of the road.
