Have a 2007 Prius pkg 3 (No navi sysetm). I see a black box about 8" by 7" located under the forward passenger seat. We don't have the navi system (and I understand the disk drive and electornics for the navi system are under the driver's side seat anyway). Anyone know what the box under the passenger seat is?

It is a Big Brother survailance device that relays eveything that happens in and around the car back to Toyota. The little water jets on the hood are actually micro cameras that capture the road ahead an what is going on inside the cabin. All GPS data from the Nav System is also captured and returned to Toyota along with Prius' operating conditions and your Radio and CD listening preferences.
