Does anyone know if theres a way to connect a flash drive(Thumb Drive) or other external USB storage to the radio to play MP3's? Will the console recognize an external mass storage device? is there any external data port on the console that can be wired for this purpose? It would be awsome to connect gigs worth of storage via a usb port and be able to navigate similar to an MP3 CD.
I have not seen anything show up from my sources yet and I have looked. So far it is limited to iPod and AUX inputs. Nearly all the aftermarket units do it though.
There's a few aftermarket decks that allow a flash drive to be plugged in, but it's definitely not a feature that's in the radio of various Prius trims.
