I recently decided to leave the 512mb dark ages and get a real MP3 player that can play all these newfangled formats like moving pictures and such. Anyways, the new player (Samsung YP-P2) has bluetooth and I was wondering if there is a way to connect a '04 Prius (without nav/bluetooth) to the MP3 player. There are plenty of iPod solutions, but everyone else seems to get ignored.

Someone asked this same question on a PDA discussion board that I frequent. They thought that the Bluetooth "stack" (something about the software) in cars was too primitive to deal with the complexities of transmitting/receiving music as opposed to voice or simple data. If you have the advanced audio system, use the Aux jack in the center console from the headphone jack on your device. The wire can be limited to the confines of the console itself.
