We thought we were down to one FOB smart key silver label (2007 prius) and I bought a couple from ebay from two different people. Haven't taken them anywhere to be programed cause we found the other key but is it possible to have a used key programmed to work like are factory ones? We have an SKS system... (I think I got that right, opens the doors with the FO TIA Jim I did duplicate this question in troubleshooting, please forgive?
I would merge the two. Pick which forum you prefer the most. To answer question, yes it is possible. I don't remember the limit of the number of keys that's allowed to be registered to a car but yes you can program used keys if I recall correctly.
Thanx for the iformation and would anybody know can the car do it or does it have to be done at the dealer. (i'll delete the other post)
