I called two Toyota dealerships today about the sat ready radio question. One said yes the other no. I do not have a sat button on the front of my radio. I would like to install TOY-SC1 SCC1 to run thru factory radio. Is mine sat ready or will I have to go with separate mounted tuner and not be able to control voulme etc on steering wheel? 2008 Package 2 Touring
Yes your vehicle is Sat ready, but that is kinda of deceiving. You still have to purchase the Sat Kit (XM/Sirus) and have it installed to make it functional.
