The short answer is yes. I believe that there is an iPhone issue that is being worked on.
I've had my PIP for about a month. I drive about 90 miles a day. In my 06 I would get ~47 mpg. I'm now getting ~65 in my PIP for the same route....

If you have a Scangauge II with the right firmware you can do it yourself, I did mine in under 5 minutes. Others have had the dealer do it for them.
I agree about the seats. In fact a lot of others agree too, Dianne sold a high number of base models that had a leather upgrade done before...
I had leather put into a PIP basic and have been pleased so far. I wasn't too thrilled with the feel of the SofTex when I sw it t the car show.
