    Yes make sure button pushed in not a big difference there's no led on clicking of the button, but when you get in car you will hear the fan...

    yes they pry open, not sure on programing a new one. Normally when you have the 2 org. fobs you can buy a 3rd FOB online [aka Ebay] and do it...
