Unfortunately there’s a good chance your 12 voltle drain if you leave it unattended for a long period. The real solution is to leave it unplugged...
I think I'd charge it up a bit and see if that fixes the problem albeit temporarily. If it does, maybe have the battery tested at a parts store...

12volt battery in the trunk. Use the FOB key to open if necessary.
Maybe that’s not a totally bad thing. I tend to not be bleeding edge in tech. Seems to have worked well for me at least.
If they find their way into plug-ins I wonder what it does to change the charging time?
