I actually removed the cover panel on the hatch and then you can reach up from the inside and pop them out... -M
There is no release screw...just push firmly from the bottom of the square mount...straight up and it will release. It takes a bit of pressure....

FWIW...The one I picked up on eBay was only 85.00...used..with the wiring harness and wire cover...it was a gentex 453. -M

Rahn, Try bending out the metal prongs a bit on either side of the bulb...sometimes they are not straight too. Good luck on the install! -M

No..I think they are putting 0W-20 synthetic in the Prius C...I have read that in a few places on PC. I am pretty sure 0W-20 comes in synthetic...
