I can enter Autopilot (which is combined TACC and LKA) while driving by tapping down twice on the drive stalk. I have the "new" Autopilot, not EAP.

They include a NEMA 14-50 adapter, yes. All adapters for the UMC are $35 each.
Autopilot definitely should have lit up the steering wheel blue near the speedometer and took over steering for you.
