I never use auto. It annoys me that it starts with high (noisy) fan speed. Never had that problem with manual.
Haven't had that problem. Was your seat pushed all the way to the stops? Does it rattle if you now push the seats back really firmly?
Also was it hot or cold?
Most likely a failing 12 volt battery. It could also be a faulty sensor. The sensor is located under the bumper vertically below the rear hatch...
