Gonna recheck but it was. Probably looks that way becouse the engine is not at 0. Engine is installed at angle. .
Well the dot is right on the yellow link .
I guess you can't see marks that well in those .

Crank shaft is about 15 after mark of 0. I could take off harmonic balancer and the yellow would probably be on the dot. But that's not how...
If the dot on the wheel is the mark and not the gash it would make more sense .
