Looks like if I decide to go out and get one next year.. I'll be headed to Virginia for a road trip....
Sounds promising...
NO WAY THIS CAR IS GOING TO SELL FOR 25k... You can get an '11 "regular hybrid" for that... Better add AT LEAST 6K to that... 32K is...
I have to admit.. this is very interesting news....
Interesting article... If the new PHV w some type of back up camera comes in under $30K.. I will also join gwmort in the hat buffet... and also...
But the new PHV is not going to be "under normal circumstances"... agreed? It is "brand new"... I suspect my projection to be closer than yours.....
Awaiting more numbers.. thanks for the report...
So in your estimation.. a PHV III would be about (current price for a III is about 28K + 5K -2.5) 30K??? A IV would be about- 34K??? A V would...
Congrats and enjoy...
Good point... things are crazy now.. And to think.. I was slightly considering negotiating a Prius III for about 17 - 19K just a few months...
Wonder how much it was cost to set up a power supply outside the home for plugging in???
34K might be a good starting point.. but I still think it will be a bit higher than that...
no doubt.. I'm sitting.. and waiting..
we shall see how prices are affected in the coming years...
Currently considering keeping my Frontier..- and possibly passing it on to my kids....
Both vehicles paid off - Done. All credit cards paid off - Done. Paying off house - hopefully within the next two years. Prius PHV coming to...
Sounds about right... If they would offer the PHV for $25K or less.. I think they would have a huge winner.. but I really think they will go...
As has been stated by others on this site.. the higher the price tag.. the more one has to consider "is it worth it or "am I really saving...
So if you go for a "decked out" PHV... it will be at least $40K...
