That's scary, Pepe le Prime.:D
I agree with these posts but as @HPrimeAdvanced said, you can expect HV only to be in the 60-70 mpg range and as others have said there are a lot...
Same in New Jersey.
What I did was try different scenarios, recording my daily mpg and see which scenario gives me the best commute mpg.
Nice, my only other brand new car, besides my Prime, was a '75 Celica GT. Sweet ride! Shifting on that was like an automatic. (miss that car too)! ;)
There is no parking in neutral but i guess if you apply the parking brake then put in park it will not put as much pressure on the pawl.
I haven't used or needed to use a parking brake since my shifting days of yore. Never had a problem.
Bummer. Did they at least give you a Prime loaner?
Different perspectives? To me they go hand in hand. Maximizing EV miles and getting the most from the HV battery not only save $ but are less...
In the first 3 months, I used EV until it changed to HV. Now I'm trying something different. My first 3 miles are 28 mph in EV and usually I gain...
In that scenario, yes it would. I've had something similar happen to me a few times. At the end of my EV, some days, I still have about 1 mile to...
From my experience, there is always a warm up cycle. When you drive in EV mode the ICE doesn't run, so it doesn't warm up at all. Also, if you...
That is for the Premium I believe. That is the range I paid for the Premium in NJ. The Advanced is 3k-4k higher.
When you are in EV the whole trip and deplete it, the ICE goes into warm up mode. I agree that 1.5 miles of ICE is nothing for a 11.3 gal. tank. I...
I feel your pain. I went from a 2012 v to the Prime. I am happy to live with it and make due, because the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
The ICE won't finish warm up after EV in 1 mile so it doesn't turn off when stopped.
Awesome, I would like to see that app run on the 11.6 screen. Do they have an android version of that? My commute is not that hilly but I may try...
There is a charging schedule you can set to your departure time (preferred method). Your battery will not be sitting at full charge for more than...
Sacre Bleu!
Thanks for the effort, but check the dates on stuff. I've done the same a few times. :)
