Mine is off by maybe 20 miles, if you don't factor in the 50 after it says 0.

63.36 mph vs 66 mph. That's what I've observed as well.
The best method you could observe on the highway would be to slow down. There is a big drop between 60-65 mph.
Which will still be in the minority... if the OP will ever have to do it, I'd be very surprised. GM made sure to use very little of the capacity...

Nobody said it wouldn't use gas. The context was supposed to say that the Volt will still use much less gas than the PC.
There is a few threads about this... but a few of the changes are a better wrap on the steering wheel (at least for the 4 model), a jumper...
You have to give it a MPG to compare it to... if you leave it set as default, you won't be comparing anything, so there won't be any savings.
