With a CVT it certainly won't matter ... it's like a snowmobile ... go up a hill, down a hill, the RPM's will vary between about 1000 and 2400...

The Prius rides OK .... just OK, and I like it. Sure ... it gets from point A to B, but it's a plasticky, noisy, and tinny ride, and that's why...

Subaru's been using CVT's for years now ... at least since the current gen Outback I think ... I don't think the CVT in the Subie is any risk at...
Never used it .... I think it's worthless ... in the mile that you used it in stop and go ... you probably wouldn't have started the engine...
