I hope your lens and headlights will be Ok. Silicone adhesive gives off acetic acid (vinegar) when it cures. Hopefully, it will not cause clouding...
Did you glue the lens back using clear silicone?

Those "yellowish" DRL are highbeam bulbs at reduced power. There are several advantages to using them vs the regular headlights when driving...

Aren't the foglights supposed to go out when highbeams are on? My oem Camry's foglights go out when highbeams are activated. It's normal behavior.
Whoops, should be 6 o'clock position.
You might be able to modify your HID bulbs to reinstall them with the ground wires in the 12 o'clock position to get rid of the ground wire...
