Have you driven it much? How's it running? Any problems with over heating? Or did you fill it slowly so the coolant pushes out the air?

The smart thing to do is to check everything. The pressure does equalize, that is normal when it is off. You may have shorted out the connector...
Get a code reader that will read ALL the Prius codes, and check it out yourself. Did you have those codes before the battery was replaced?

Maybe the space between the blocks are clogged. Since the fan looks like that, it only makes sense that the battery space is full of that also....
