Yes! I do the same thing...I have found it does not make sense to leave immediately in the morning since the car will only use battery at high...
They work In the C. I have programmed in about 10 of them with no issue.

I did a 240 mile interstate trip last weekend and I got 56 MPG! Only went the speed limit (65) and had about 15 miles of 35-55 driving...tried...
I did not have to go to the dealer...just used the info in this thread..worked fine......
