I've done this 10 times now. The last time lasted well over a minute and the only reason it stopped was because I hit the wrong end of the...
I'm down to 46-47mpg since the temperature hit the 30's. However, I did inflate my tires back to 42/40 and this is what happened when the...
I always refill at 2 pips/300+ miles and I always get 6 gallons at the first click. Should I be safe to try to go an extra 50 miles and see if it...
First drive in the snow last night. About a quarter inch of snow on the roads in certain areas. Didn't have any trouble going up steep hills or...
I'm in a similar situation in Philadelphia. Suggestions would be nice. X-Radials or Nokian WRs? Price? How to order and get installed? I've...
This thread is scaring the piss out of me. Am I not going to be ok in Manayunk (VERY hilly part of Philadelphia)?
Well, I went down a big hill and it was cold. I guess that explains it. :)
Looks like I found the Prius' threshold for temperatures it will absolutely not tolerate. Anything under 40 = mpg go bye bye. This is my MPG...
For some reason I thought this was impossible, but I have heard of it happening on rare occasions. It just happened to me last night. Nothing...
You should follow your own advice, fear mongerer. I mean, Watts. Read up. Partisan hack.
Well, somehow my new tank is hitting 50.5 MPG after the first 150 miles in 32 degree or below cold. Grills still not blocked, but I did inflate...
On my last tank I was down 3 pips before I even got to 100 miles. Down to 2 pips before I got to 300.
I still haven't blocked my grill and my MPG went from 53-56 to 46-47 since the temperature dropped to the 30's. Ouch! I guess I know what I'm...
Well, nobody could have expected the price of gas to drop so much this fast.
Thanks so much! :D It was in the 30's much of this week. I don't think it will top 50-something until April. :(
That sounds dangerous. Yeah, my mpg dropped by about 5 since last week when it got REALLY cold here in Philadelphia. I think I'd like to do...
No. They want to cut supply. Besides, any time their projections are way over what the price actually turns out to be, it's bad for everyone.
Still around $2.70 in Philadelphia. Hopefully this helps the economy out a little before OPEC completely castrates supply.
Just an update: I kept pumping past the click until I got to 7 gallons. I'm now at 340 miles on this tank with 4 pips left. I'm stumped!...
OPEC just reduce supply by 1.5m barrels per day, so you'll see prices go back over $3.00 pretty soon.
