Hello Michelle, I can install the same battery (brand new from Toyota) for much less than the dealer quoted you. My shop is around 30 miles away...
The CHS sensor is located at the bottom of the CHS tank and is not the same as the ECT sensor. I would make sure your coolant is full to start....
The US price is more than twice that.
I think those wires and cap are going to be the hardest things to find here ;-)

There are instructions that say replacing the resistor is not required but may cause noise if not replaced.
Is this a picture of the old actuator and new resistor? If so, I'm pretty sure both resistors are the same value.

I'd like to add that I avoid using 12 point sockets unless the bolt head is 12 point.
The alarm is warning you of low brake fluid pressure. You might check to see if your brake fluid reservoir is full and if you see any brake fluid...
