Only recently have I started choosing HV mode earlier (warming up the ICE long before I've run out of EV). Part of the reason I think I waited...
I had seen the defogger on the passenber side of my PiP before, but I had never thought about the fact that it is ONLY on the passenger side...
But, if he does have a short commute, then he could probably drive a majority of the miles gas-free with the PiP.
It's easy to forget that the efficientcy improvements in the EV system with warm temperatures also applies to the EV portion of the HV battery...
