From experience. My current prius is at 205k miles, and i've had it since 70k. At around 180k things started to break down. If the car is on it's...
Just curious if the Tanabe sustec upper tower brace helped at all or the mid chassis box beam? I did the other stuff, and that's all that's left...
A prius is a expensive used car to maintain. You're wayyyy better up picking up a 2008-2009 with 110k or under miles for 4-6k. Just look around.....
Yes I'm aware. I'm just dispelling the idea that any these things will help a faulty oil consuming engine which is designed to have oil...

Man over here in Socal it's2-3k above that on average.
That's what I usually do. The car's last cleaning was like 15k miles ago and then randomly threw this code after cutting out in the highway. Just...
Issue fixed by picking up a used throttle body with tps and a gasket for ~$50 from ebay and swapping them out.
It may be the TPS sensor or throttle body. Mine did the same thing and finally gave an engine code.
Perfect, searched around through googles search and couldn't find that thread. Thanks
So I got a P0121 code which basically means the TPS sensor has gone bad, my car starting stalling, but not enough to stop, until at one point the...
