Can somebody here bring up their Prime's diagnostic screen and see if they also see a 12.6V reading in drive?
Still haven't cashed it. It's been 6 weeks. :/
It may have been something weird with the door being half-closed, but the mechanism wasn't latched while the door was open.
Not that I know of. I pretty much gave up once I learned Toyota's specs allow the DC-to-DC converter to output as little as 11V. In that situation...
I wouldn't expect Plano to tell me something different in person than they did via telephone.
Toyota is having enough of an issue getting those batteries that Toyota USA manually canceled my dealer's order for one to repair my car and told...
Last night I went to get in the Prius and when I touched the door handle it didn't do the usual two-beep unlock. Instead it rapidly alternated...
It's a good idea. I haven't tried that. I was getting ready to disconnect the negative wire from the inverter and just run a wire from the...
That's exactly what they're doing. Try knifing one and see what happens to the car. Is it still being held up? Nope. Strange, it's like the...
Yes, they are. That's how it works. What's holding the car up is every square inch of the entire tire. The car's weight pushes down on the tire...
It doesn't work that way. If it did, the pressure on the bottom of the tire would be 10 lbs higher than the pressure at the top of the tire. This...
That's not how air pressure (and hydraulics btw) work. If the pressure is x at one point, it's x at every point. The load is borne equally...
Would it make that much difference? Air is a fluid, so pressure is equal throughout the tire and compressor while connected to the tire. Say...
Ugh. I mailed in something like January 10 and they haven't even cashed the check yet.
Why would anyone want to forcibly prevent other people from discussing anything? That seems so gestapo.
I think it's general practice these days to limit charge/discharge to about 85% and 25% respectively. Battery life is greatly extended this way....
Thanks. This can be useful information for people who might feel the urge to panic shortly after the low fuel light comes on.
Hopefully not 1.7 gallons. If so, by the time the car's a year old I'll only have water in the tank.
Just in case anyone was curious, when your fuel gauge looks like this [IMG] there's still 1.7 gallons left in the tank, according to the gas pump.
Right, but with lithium batteries, the lower the SOC, the slower the degradation. The only reason not to store them at 0% is self-discharge may...
