I will have to do something soon if I take a battery down too low I will no doubt get it out of balance let alone the life taken from it.
I have a salvage Prius I got from auction, I know I must like trouble. I think it has a normal drain on the 12 volt battery but my problem is...
There are several reasons the engine will run apart from the emission control, AC and HV battery charging there is also the 12 volt auxilary...

Thanks I got around the DTC's by shorting the two pins in the socket for the scanguage, it worked on other cars so I tryed and got lucky.:rolleyes:

Stock tyres in Europe are 195/55/16 well in UK at least but lots of us are going for 205/55/16 or even 215/45/17 with aftermarket 17" inch rims
Are the toyota dealers the only people whop can retrieve the other dtc's? Darn I was hoping I could see everything with the scanguage, I have...
It's OK sorry, I had the HV dongle not all the way home, all working now:)
I bought a used Prius with failed battery cheap, got a salvage battery fitted it everything looks like it should work but scanguage shows no dtc's...

With tyres fitted would that make them lighter as there is less tyre on more rim? and less air volume, or am I being dumb? Simon
In the UK even the top of range Prius has no auto dimming mirror or even heated door mirrors! and we pay a lot more to start with. Simon
