I guess you're right. It's been plugged in for maybe 5 minutes and now it says 1.6 hr...oops just went up to 1.7, probably because I had to turn...
Hehe yeah. Funny thing about that though...the Prius said 0.9kWh and 2.9 hours on 120V but 1.8kWh and 1.9 hours on 240V.
Thank you! Oh by the way, it also works ;)
Well I'm done! (pre-testing, of course) Here are the pics. I'm sure Mitch will shudder a little bit at the construction, but it seems sturdy...
Got the 15A cable's strain relief in the mail today from Amazon, and the board itself back from Mitch as well. Looks like I'll be doing some...
I'll check that out. I used a weatherproof metal fitting from Home Depot for the inlet cord and an $18 Leviton braided strain relief for the J1772...
I realize that about the voltage rating. The water- and oil-proof power cord I had laying around is also only rated for 300V "junior" cord set.

I thought so, but I can't find out exactly what to replace with something rated for 240V. It would be nice to have two dual voltage chargers 0:)
$5-600 for a 120V Toyota OE unit? Nah. Oh I almost forgot! Can I modify the OE unit for 240V?
I have seen a couple on eBay but they were functional.
Cool. I wish I had just waited and bought a pre made unit but oh well. It will be fun I guess lol. Is it necessary to program the unit you build...
