I use ProClip mounts. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] Mount at the A pillar can also mount a phone with the right ProClip mount adapter.
I had this problem when I got mine. Only solution is a full clear 3M wrap on the entire front end bumper, full hood and fenders.
I actually looked into this lip a few years ago but was not sure about the fitment because I have a 2013.
