It's a lot of BTU's to heat the battery to a point where the battery will operate without ICE kicking in. A lot more BTU"S than what the timer...
If you think about it.....using a Kill A Watt meter will give you approx 3KW since the battery charges to 85% which is approx 3KW how much is left...
I myself don't use the timer, my PIP's outside in the cold and charging it up doesn't warm the battery up enough to make a difference.:cry:
