It is far better on my 2012 plug-in than it was on my 2005. My Bad I was thinking traction control. Not enough coffee, I will fix that problem...

Yep, I have at least two trips a day of 2.7 miles, takes me about 4-6 minutes. I do that in all EV. I can't see the need for heat for such a short...

Same here, but went about 11 miles 58 mpg! :) Had about 2.8 miles of EV left. My starting EV is down to 9.8 now. :confused:

Thats a problem. I'm lucky I eat up about a mile of EV before my big down slope so I have room for regen.
I Agree it is really touchie and can jump into and out of the power zone in a split second. esp. when really cold and going up a hill and on comes...

No not really, slight up hill for .3 miles then a slight down hill for .3 then a drop to the river about a 125 feet thru a traffic light and back...
Well! Coffee today same times, 8:00 am going, -8 below and 11:45am return -2 below all EV no ICE. Heated garage 45 degees.
Yeah! I do not know the battery temp. I was surprised the ICE did not start after 3 hours outside at 4 degrees.
Well back from coffee about 11:45 am. 4 degrees and 2.7 miles all EV no ICE. most of EV 2.2 miles is 45 mph zone.
