With perpendicular parking the manual states the front side bumper sensor must be near Central? to the opening and approx a foot or so away....
I think when you turn the vents off, you then have to put the climate in AUTO mode, then it will remember the last settings when you turn the car off.

That is normal, what the camera sees is not always reliable, it doesn't see lane markings or kerb edges unless they are very clear and it doesn't...

Yes, they are in the bottom of the doors, not in the mirrors. They are actual projector lamp units that replace the stock ones.
It seems to be a pearlescent white on mine, is it the same on the US models ?
And the system is a lot slower to boot up since the update :(
