I've decided to entirely ditch the OEM 19's w/Toyos. Getting TireRack 17's with a 225/55/17 Conti DWS 06.
I'm ditching the 19's and getting 17's with a 225/55/17 tire. It will be the same height as OEM but more tire for potential road hazards.

I bought after market 16" wheels for my dedicated winter tires. Same height as the OEM 19's Significantly less weight on the 16's, those OEM 19's...
Like most things... you get what you pay for. I had a reputable shop install mine. Full front PPF Worth it. Here in Colorado mtns the snow plows...

I wear progressive lens glasses. I haven't experienced your problem but I rarely use it. Sorry, not very helpful
