The 57011 Head Unit is what came new in the 2012 Prius v Five (no ATP), suggested to be a DVD-based navigation database.

We saw no degradation in fuel economy after the reflash. 42mpg before and after.
My understanding is the TSB covers pre-existing circuit board damage prior to the reflash. You might try it.

It's new. Take it to the dealer and have them sort it out. Probably a 'spare part' that was dropped and lodged itself in the dash during assembly.
