Went from OEM 215/50R17 TOYOs to oversized 225/50R17 LRR Continentals and saw no hit.
If memory serves they are 7mm OD, but depth I couldn't say.
Never got comfortable with DCC on the Camry I rented. Dynamic Foot and Stalk Control, OTOH, work just fine.
2012-2014 should be identical, other than paint and trim level features. 2015 onward had numerous styling changes but not sure doors are among them.
