My parents just bought 2010 ES350...it is one slick car! It is no handler, but it is an amazing daily driver! The 2010 update is very nice!

Tom, yeah, i agree. On the road mentioned above by my house, there was a difference, but not a big difference b/w Prius and the Avalon and LS.
But this applies to every car. I have a road near my house that is quite noisy.......even in an Avalon, Lexus LS430, etc..
MB does not give lifetime free oil changes nor free oil changes within warranty period. Free oil changes ended at the start of 2005 model year....

My dealer managed to do the same thing you did...they had to replace the whole unit. Not sure what it costs.
