Looks fantastic. I do mine with Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax, which is actually more of a sealant. They're definitely nice curvaceous vehicles to wax!
What triggered you to fill up? It sounds like you went past the low fuel warning.
They're safer because you can see a few cars in front being up higher. (ignore the fact that you block the vision of 5 cars behind you)
