That's what I thought too, but same files play fine on other devices.
Sometimes my Prius freezes when playing mp3 files from a jump drive via the usb port. The stereo then shuts down, cycles on, freezes again, etc....
I have the exact same problem with my new '12 Prius Two... no fog nor film on the inside, but droplets of spray on the front edge of the side...
