    The OP would be violating UK laws, but buying a US stalk and mounting it on his car would allow OFF. A lot of work.

    The OP must have reasons for this feature and only (s)he can decide how important it is. I imagine there will be a cost limit on any possible modification and compliance with the law may not be high on his demands. (n)
