There are a lot of dealers smack talking the Volt and ELR. Many refuse to carry it, and some of those that do will put them under a tarp and let them rot. The owners I have spoken to love the ELR. I haven’t spoken with any of the CT6 owners yet.
Cadillac as a brand has the ability to take charge of the EV market, their designs are works of art. It's the 1950's all over again for caddy designs.
This is not unique to Cadillac. SouthEast Toyota doesn't even carry the Prime and they are not alone. Bob Wilson
If you want a good read, look for The Car That Could by Michael Shnayerson. It's a book about the creation of the EV1 and all the infighting behind it and it is not a GM fluff piece. Not sure what your point is? Lexus/Toyota were smart on sitting on the side lines. Once Toyota comes out with a true plug in, the public will want one.
