Good day, I got an error on the MDF when I try to start the navigation. "A program cannot be read. Please contact the dealer." I went to the dealer and they are saying to insert the 1st of the four navigation DVD's. Tried it but without any result. I checked the navigation ECU, it still has power cause I can eject the dvd and insert new ones. On the service menu I have the error NRES. Also tried to reset the nav. ECU. No result Before this I had a problem with the horn/ac and had to disconnect many connectors from the cockpit and clean them.
No, cos you've got one of them there new fangled Gen III Pri. A plug-in to boot! At a guess, I'd wager that NRES mean "No Response". But that really is just a guess.
Indeed, NRES is not responding. NRES - Device responds in diagnostic mode, but gives no DTC information.
possibly the nav unit needs to be cleaned. I bought a cleaning disc for my cd players and it seemed to help sometimes.
