12 V acc (switch) wire for subwoofer

    I want to install an active subwoofer in my Prius 2008. It has the radio/amplifier underneath the passenger's seat with the 3 connectors.

    I know where to get wires for the speakers and the 12 V directly from the battery, but I'm not sure where to get a 12 V acc (switch) signal from, to get the subwoofer powered on, when the accesories get powered on.

    Any help is appreciated.

    So what I did was run my remote wire from my amplifier to the 12 v power in the center console. The rear cup holder pops off pretty easily giving you access. I tapped into the grey wire.

    I suspect you really need to tap a 12 v source that is only live when your car is READY. Otherwise you will go through a lot of 12 v batteries.
