    I just bought a used 2016 from a dealer - how can I know if the battery is an original item?

    89k kms/55k miles



    Also - how can I plug and use a 12v battery charger on a Prius, is it just like any other car?

    This was mine - now 5½yrs old going fine.

    Remember the battery is an old-style Flooded Battery - NOT AN AGM.
