congrats on you accomplishments!! did you by chance, do a mileage chart? if so, would love to see it posted here. i guessing by the mileage driven and your location you work in DC? (that area does lead the nation in out of town commuters) as far as oil consumption, i need to check my oil. i did it religiously for a while, but never had any changes to it so haven't done it lately. nearing the 5,000 miles on this change but Toyota always remarks on their report the oil level and they say it was full before the change.
When you say you changed tranny fluid I am assuming you are referring to the transaxle fluid? I have a 2004 with only 65,000 miles since new. I am wondering if I should have this fluid changed. I've read too many opinions on this specific item and I'm a bit confused. Can someone advise me? Thanks!
My 06 has over 84,000 totally trouble-free miles. I guess I still have a way to go to rack up the really big miles. I did have the inverter coolant pump and coolant replaced at about 65,000 on warranty due to a check engine light. Nothing else. Original tires 67,000 miles, almost 20K on the new ones and no visible wear. Original brakes too. Life is good
My 06 has 96k miles approaching 97k. I kept changing oil (Mobil 1) and air/oil filters. Still on the original brakes.
