Does anyone know if any upgrades are available for the 2005 model? I'd really like to play MP3/WMA cd's. Thanks Tamara [email protected]
I don't think from Toyota. You could remove the radio and add a third party system. You could also get an iPod and connect it to the existing radio using either a DICE or VAIS iPod Integration System.
That's disappointing. This car is not like other cars I was expecting upgrades to be available. Also I thought about getting an ipod but other than in the car I have no use for it. Any recommendations on a CD player that will work and fit well with the car? Tamara
All cars are like that now. Every newer car i've seen has the radio molded into the dash, and can be upgraded the same way, by replacing the head unit using a dash kit,or installing another head unit in the storage slot below the stock stereo.
So the dash unti would just fit behind the old one but would the CD player still work and be 6 disc or would I also have to find one that has a 6 cd chander? >Also who should install it Toyota or whomever I bought it from? Thanks
