2005 Prius - 12v Battery Issue

    She had 500cca selected as the 12v battery capacity. When the tester did its test, it came up with 551 cca. If the battery rated CCA is 475 or 500, the 12v battery is fine.

    @MOEsMom can you post a photo of the data on the top of the battery?

    If this is the NAPA battery specifically for the Prius (The Legend Premium AGM model), I've purchased a few and they've worked very well. Their nameplate data sticker is 325CCA, but when new, they typically give much higher test results. If the car has a Group 51 non-agm battery (with larger terminals and clamps), they typically have CCA ratings in the 450-600 range and 12.5 would be a very normal voltage. A photo of the top of the battery or more definite model info would clear this up.
