I suppose the Prius has a more unique profile than the v, C-Max, generic CUV's in style now. Buying a car because it is, or looks like a certain car is not on my radar. The company logo plus eco whatever on the fenders & tail will satisfy the curious. #1 wagon on the US News & World Report list is the Subaru Outback, #2 is the VW. The Subaru is AWD which is a bonus. I do not know if these are eco vehicles with good crash ratings or not. Another option is the Mazda5 with slider doors but that one is going out of production. I might have misspoke of build quality as I was thinking my first impression on taking a seat. The Toyota is just old school econobox with vast expanses of hard plastic.
